Type of airspace: Danger area (ESD865, vertical limit GND-800 ft AMSL).

Airspace purpose: Emergency drone operations carried out upon request from SOS Alarm 112 and Västra Götaland Region. Drone operations are conducted beyond visual line of sight (BVLOS) from the remote pilot. During active hours, drones may be dispatched with 15 seconds notice to anywhere within the area.

Active hours: Daily 08:00–22:30 (local time)

Operator and aircraft: Everdrone AB (org. no 559095-4169) operating the E3 Emergency UAV multirotor (visual reference). The aircraft has a weight of 24 kg and measures 1.7 m from propeller tip to propeller tip.

Normal operating height: 30–80 m AGL, except during takeoff and landing

General safety notice

  • Other airspace users are allowed to operate within the area, but operations are conducted at the operator’s own risk.
  • A conflict or collision with the E3 Emergency UAV could result in personal injury, property damage, and may also disrupt time-critical, life-saving emergency operations.

Instructions to operators of manned aircraft

Operators of manned aircraft are strongly advised to contact Everdrone for airspace coordination if planned flight may conflict with operations in the danger area.

Instructions to drone operators

Drone operators that comply with the following conditions are not advised to contact Everdrone for airspace coordination:

  • Operations are conducted below 30 m or above 80 m AGL.
  • Operations are performed within Visual Line of Sight (VLOS) with continuous monitoring of the drone and its surroundings.
  • Operator has preparedness to carry out immediate avoidance manoeuvre in the event of an airspace conflict. The E3 Emergency UAV has a cruising speed of 80 km/h and may approach at any time.

Drone operators that cannot comply with the above conditions are advised to contact Everdrone for airspace coordination.
