Everdrone recognised as top innovator and widens the scope

Everdrone, a global leader in autonomous drone technology, joins the exclusive list of top innovators to have made the list of Ny Teknik’s Top 33 Most Promising Tech Companies in Sweden – for the third time.

“We are truly honoured to have made it onto the list not once, but three times, alongside giants like Spotify and iZettle”, says Mats Sällström, CEO of Everdrone. “We also hope that this sort of recognition brings awareness of how drones in general can be used to save lives and provide safety in society.”

Everdrone’s revolutionary First on Scene AED Solution, using autonomous drones to deliver defibrillators (AED) to out-of-hospital cardiac arrest patients, is presently operational in Sweden and Denmark, reaching a total of 340,000 people. For an in-depth look into how a First on Scene AED operation is performed, a video showing the entire operation is available on youtube.com/everdrone.

“For us, AEDs are just the beginning. We are presently widening the scope to deliver other time-sensitive medical supplies such as epinephrine and tourniquets. We are also expanding our service portfolio beyond medical delivery and will soon be able to provide live view imagery to support time-critical decision-making in case of fires or traffic accidents”, says Mats Sällström.

A company that makes Ny Teknik’s list three times gets the honour of being designated a Gold Company. To be considered for the list in the first place, the company must have been founded no more than seven years ago and have the potential for international success based on technological innovations developed inhouse. In recent years, the UN Sustainable Development Goals has served as an additional assessment criterion in the selection process.
